Being A Fairweather Sports Fan Appreciation Thread

Luckily my city doesn't have a professional sports team, so I feel no obligation or regional bias that i'm guilted into supporting. I just pick teams that are fun to watch and if I like the roster and they have potential for a ship I'll jump on the wagon and become a fairweather supporter like right now i'm a huge redksins fan, mostly because RGIII and all the youth on that squad doing big things (morris, robinson, forbath, etc) that team shows flashes of brilliance now and then so I think if management puts the right pieces around them, they're going to be elite in the future. I dont usually pick the best teams to stan but for the past 3 seasons i've been a miami heat fan; after all the negativity from the media I just wanted to see lebron and company win a ship. and now that they've got my favorite current player ray allen I gotta support them this season too. I can see myself becoming a hornets supporter in the future with davis, rivers and the potential of that squad

I wouldn't call myself a fairweather fan, but I can't criticize cuz I'm from Miami and hate all the Miami teams. Been an Eagle's fan since 01'. I guess if I had to pick a team in the NBA it would be OKC. But it doesn't fukk up my day when the Thunder lose, I almost feel like never watching football again when the Eagles have a bad loss. The shyt fukks with my soul sometimes

Pittsburgh fan but I don't really like baseball or hockey.... Steelers make the playoffs damn near every year so I'm good on that....

Since we don't have a basketball squad...no reason for me to align with a city, woe is me, I have to stan for individual players and teams....
