Skeletor is Darkseid. They got rid of his annoying voice from the 80s cartoon and made him more threatening in the movie

Even used Darkseids favorite move the Omega Beam

He Man is Orion

Evil Lyn is Granny Goodness

Gwildor is Oberon

Teela is Barda

Man at Arms is Mr. Miracle

Detective Lubic is Detective Turpine

Kevin, Julie and their friend are the Forever People

The people who made the movie need to cut Jack King Kirby's estate a check

I came in to hate or say how your crazy, but you've got some good points It's not a perfect match but I can see the relation. shyt it shares stronger similarities to Kirby and the New Gods than it does the He-man cartoon I grew up with. And I loved that movie as a kid even if it was nothing like the cartoon

How old are you? I don't disagree, but if you were a kid at that time you were just excited with the fact that it was He-Man, even if it wasn't really "He-Man". I was about 6 or 7 when I saw it and it didn't take much to entertain me when it came to 80s action flicks. It has swords, magic, shooting, creatures and battles so it was enough for me.....



























But yeah, that shyt is trash
