No spoilers, no reviews, someone died I was like :mindblown:, taking out the free tv guide reading a shows description and saying meh, missing a episode was like :sadcam:, no pvr.

Now when I'm about to watch a movie I head to imdb or rotten tomatoes and look at the review, back in teh day I just winged it so to speak

There was more surprises for sure, but the internet is the reason shows like Breaking Bad even blew up. I was put onto Breaking Bad mid season 3 cus of the internet. There's so many shows these days that without you guys and reviews, I wouldn't even know what to watch.

There's positives and negatives. I know some people who miss out on movies I know they would like solely because its RT is too "low". When you read a bad/good review on something it taints your impression when you actually watch it. You end up overrating or underrating the product based on your knowledge beforehand. I try to go to movies fresh. I may look at the score but i try to steer from actually reading/listening to any reviews if I really wanna watch it. After though, I GO IN and read n watch everything.

I only read/listen to reviews after watching a movie. I also do everything I can to avoid trailers, spoilers, etc. It's to the point that I don't even like knowing the Rotten Tomatoes score before I see a movie.

I always read reviews, I used to go straight to the 'Arts' section of the local paper on Thursday, and read the reviews...I had books of movie reviews by Leonard Maltin, others...I read Ebert's reviews from like 1972 to 1982, in some massive book at my grandma's house, I am like idiot savant with that shyt, I know dates and directors and plots of movies I never seen....so, it's changed very little for me, much more accessible. But, I love reviews. Probably shows lol-also I remember when I was like 12 I would have to present evidence to my Mom about what was in the R Rated movies I was seeing....'Heavy violence, some sex scenes' was a go, she didn't go for '8MM' though.
