I know a lot of people are curious about projectors....
Bought it a few months ago. It's being projected onto a wall right now. That's about 160 inches or so. The projector is rated to 1080p at 120 inches. So that picture is just slightly below HD. I honestly can't tell the difference from the 120 and 160 though.
Not sure what my final size is going to be. I can either mount it under the coffee table or on a beam on the ceiling. Either way it will be nice to have an open white wall and a TV only when we need it.
I have a receiver to manage all the HDMI sources and sound. A 2008 Macbook Pro is going to power the Apple TV using iTunes and Beamer as well as anything I can't push to the Apple TV.
I still got my 60" LCD in my chill room for everyday use.
That picture was just taken. I'm lucky because I can light control my entire place with the push of a few buttons. Hoping to have this done by the Super Bowl.
Note: that's the American Sniper trailer
