while sasha would claim she was overworked and still took her ball and went homeAccording to Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, the plan as of this week was for Becky Lynch to wrestle two matches on the Money in the Bank PPV. The first would be for the Raw title against Lacey Evans and the second would be for the Smackdown championship against an opponent yet-to-be-announced, with Charlotte Flair being a possibility.
Jeff Hardy is suffering from an unspecified injury, rumoured to be to his leg. He was seen significantly limping at the house show on Sunday.
Daniel Bryan - who has been out of action since WrestleMania with an unspecified injury - is reportedly scheduled to wrestle tonight at Smackdown in a dark match but it's unclear if this is dated advertising.
AJ immediately in the Raw title pictureAs noted, WWE announced A.J. Styles vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship as the main event of the upcoming WWE Money In The Bank 2019 pay-per-view on Monday night's episode of WWE RAW.
After the show, "The Phenomenal One" took to social media to comment on the match and the respect he has for "The Architect."
"Don’t let anyone fool you...these are two men who respect each other but make no mistake, I plan on taking [Seth Rollins'] title at [WWE Money In The Bank 2019]," wrote Styles via his official Twitter page after RAW ended on Monday night. "Started [RAW] with a win and ended it with another."
Styles concluded, "Tell me this isn’t my show. #Phenomenal."
WWE also released an exclusive backstage interview with Styles, which we posted here earlier today. For those who missed it, you can check that out by clicking here.
