Chubbs - Dope beat but mix was a little low. I think could've used more hi hat and more layer horns to make it bigger. The bass is sick. 3.5/5

CuzinQ - that had smooth spring day beat. Ross would float over this. Like the snare and the compliment drums during vocal sample. 4.25/5

prodfire - love the new jack swing style. just remember teddy had more than a snare on the 2 and 4. Love the breakdown though. 4/5

I had to back to Cuzin and Producingfire beats to make a decision. CuzinQ kept me with the nasty face so I gotta give it to him.

Perfect timing cuz I just fukking rolled up...

Cuz took this one hard as fukk. shyt the previous battle was closer imo. Like that nikka bodied this shyt and really played to his strength to the best of his ability. He really went Plus Ultra. Epic soulful beat with a nice upper mid tempo vibe, shyt had a cinematic feel like Black Dynamite walking down the street smacking nikkas up. Drums are hard, nice subtle vocal samples, dope transitions, mix clean, beat fukking perfect to me. I'd be legit surprised if he lose.

Chubbs beat was dope and there's nothing bad about it. Mix clean, drums hard, shyt knock. But it gets tricky when it comes to trap beats and horns. If the horns aren't used in a creative or catchy way within the melody, it can make the beat repetitive sounding which I felt this kinda fell into. Beat bangs, but u wont get the full potential until an artist bring his sauce to it. While Cuz beat is so dope, I just been playing that shyt nonstop. Don't need a nikka on it to really showcase it. I thought Chubbs had better beats in this tourney than this one. Overall he was one of the most consistent.

Prodfire beat was dope. Felt like some hiphop Sonic the hedgehog shyt. Mix was clean, good transitions, No lie when I seen it was a 3 min beat, I was getting hyped cuz I thought we were finally going to get a fully fleshed out epic cinematic crazy ass beat. He flexed some versatility and gave us a dope ass jazzy beat. shyt was still dope tho, but like chubbs i felt like he had better beats in the tourney than this one.

Chubbs with the banger, no complaints here, this would have been a standout production on the KOD album flat out, hopefully Cole is watching/listening . He should be.


Q's beat really got my attention with that breakdown run . Straight up nasty. I was ready to crown you again just of the timing and composition of that piece. Definitely gives off a justice league production team vibe


Producing fire came through with the on a Sunday. I was impressed by this one the most/feel it's your best beat the entire tourney. Something like this format wise is needed to do a championship rd with the likes of Chubbs and Q. I thought you nailed the new jack style and pulled some heat out of your bag due to the 1 minute beat criticism (which are extremely dope but not enough on most occasions to beat a Q or Chubbs). I compare it to facing a boxer with an elite jab and straight right but come to find out on fight night they have a left hook too. My vote this round goes to you. The nod factor hear cant be denied.


I really enjoyed this battle, the level of expertise displayed by all 3 gentlemen is tutorial worthy. Facts. #truemasters

yea i just recalled that i heard it on the coli tape from a couple of years ago... thats my bad...still sticking with my vote
