thanks brehs

When I listen to beats I listen a couple times then I isolate the sounds. I like the snares you use in your tracks, they always seem to fit. This one and in your ACT 2: Butter beat have some good snares.
you got me self conscious now listening to my other beats

I did my research they are all good. Just the snares in the 2 beats I mentioned stand out, I know I don't have a stock snare like those. I'm sure if I alter the parameters and such I can get some pretty close. You just make it seem easy (which is a good thing)

for the snares, imo, its more about volume than anything else. ive heard snares ruin a lot of really good songs for me, because a LOT of ppl mix them out front almost like vocals. bob power was infamous for that shyt...

but i digress. i think what youre hearing is me keeping them at a reasonable level. i keep them even with the sample most of the time, or lower
