Last beat tourney got slept on so im not to sure about it . Thinking about it we never had the chance to battle , would be dope to make a lil trap battle with 2 trap vet from the coli i think that could be entertaining

What's the point? We good on the beats, let's spend more time on the business. Promoting, royalties, places to sell beats, networking, copyrighting, publishing etc. Everything dealing with monetizing our music. If not were going to be like the rest of the suckers giving the industry our art for pennies on the dollars while they call us beat makers and they crown themselves producers.
Let's get it.
Sound good homie , feel free to create a thread or maybe @Tom Foolery @LauderdaleBoss @TEKBEATZ or someone can host the battle .
Beat battles are so 2014 my tunnel brehs.
We need to evolve and finally do the artist battles for who make the best songs. The last trap battle already showed that the interest for beat battles peaked. Why go down that road again so quick?
I gotta quick suggestion that could possibly bring some life back in here.
Me and DBR already working on our 2nd Trap Titans 2 mixtape. If any trap producer wants to collaborate with another artist on here and put 2 of their songs against 2 of ours we can go head up, make a thread with a poll and see which duo/group makes the best trap MUSIC .
At least it's different, and from there we could change the production theme as we go on.
We got all these hot beats floating around. Lets collab and make hot music
I'm down to organize a mixtape. I'll hit up other sites to get rappers.

I still say we do Producer of the Week where every week or 2 weeks we have a featured producer and they do a lil beat video and showcase a song/beat. Just a little peek into the studios and or mindsets of us as producers. We can always edit out the tricks or secrets we have if any and we dont have to be all up in the video smilin and talkin noddin our heads, just put the beat together and let it bump. or if you dont want to do any type of video, then just make 1-3 beats for us to listen to and critique, where you will have a dedicated stickied thread showing you are producer of the week which invites people to hear your stuff.
The thing about the beat battles was that it gave us something to look forward to because we knew when new beats were going to drop, and there was also the competition aspect, like you wanted to bring the heat and be creative which can be different from you just bein in your zone and puttin together a beat
For instance: anyone that wants to be a featured producer could sign up in a thread. and we would randomly choose a poster and from that point choose another poster each week, therefore we could have a featured producer each week, it would be up to the poster to let the admin know if they are going to pass on it ( you dont need to give reason, if you cant do it, you cant do it) just give a pass therefore we don't go a week missin a featured producer then the whole thing loses steam.
so say a mod draws a name and im the first to go and we start aug 1. my beat would be due for showing august 15th so from the date of submission which would be the 15th until the 22nd I would be the featured producer meanwhile the second person to go is notified via pm to by an admin lets say its @TEKBEATZ he is notified on august 7th and his beat is due aug 22nd.
So the calendar would look like this
Aug 1- nikkahs b wildin notified via mod that he will be producer of the week (8/15 - 8/22) if he can drop a vid or some beats by aug 15th (NBW agrees)
Aug 7- Tekbeatz is notified via mod that he will be producer of the week (8/22 - 8/29) if he can drop a vid or some beats by aug 22nd (Tekbeatz agrees)
Aug 14th or Aug 15th- NBW submits video/beats to mods also @Young/Nacho\Drawz is notified via mod that he will be producer of the week for 8/29 - 9/5 (He agrees)
Aug 15th mod creates sticky thread Featured Producer/Producer of the week: nikkahs B. Wildin
Aug 22nd/23rd Tekbeats submits his video/beats to admin/mod (Someone else is notified that they will be a featured producer)
Aug 23rd mod creates sticky thread Featured Producer/Producer of the week: Tekbeatz

Moderators can keep it anonymous therefore its somewhat of a surprise who will be the featured producer or producer of the week. I've always been down for the Producer of the week. We started that like last summer and that shyt was piff, but like everything else in here....it starts off strong and then fizzles out.
We've also tried to do the mixtape shyt in here and that shyt died out before it even got started. I actually had to take it upon myself to bring nikkas together and the results are in my sig which dropped back in Feb.
I just wish nikkas would support something new.
Having song competitions is the best way to bridge the gap between coli emcees and coli producers. Producers already get mad shine in here anyways. I've been voting and commenting on beat battles in here for damn near 4 years and I don't even produce. It would be nice to have a competition that showcases not only the producers but the emcees as well.
We just need to do something that will garner attention first, and then we can bring back weekly sample challenges, and producer of week, and etc....
I agree brehs the emcees thing would be the thing to do . Recruit from other website and all . Everyone would benefit from it . Emcees would get their shnine , would create more life in the tunnel and create more interaction between rapper/producer . We all know we have top level producers in here just we need more emcees to bless the tunnel . We should offer prize if there is a competiton or something that would bring interest for them .

100%... Let's do it over the summer before school starts back. I'm not in school but I think that had something to do with the failure of the battle!
