Who's comin' out of the NFC? Bears are lookin' mighty strong right now. I think if Forte stays healthy, they are a lock for the Superbowl :obama:

you name the cards and seahawks before you name the 49ers?

:snoop:

I'm just throwin' out names. :manny: I also didn't state the Giants, Packers, Bucs, etc..., doesn't mean they don't have a shot either. Regardless, I still the da Bears got the the best shot.

Why do the bears have the best shot?

Why do the bears have the best shot?

Defensively:

1) They're in the top 6 for opposing time of possession (and they are only a few minutes more than Philly at #5 , by the end of the year I think they will be top 5) they get you off the field, and give your offense a chance.

2) They're in the top 3 for sacks (top 2 in NFC), #1 in interceptions, and top 10 in forced fumbles. They're also # 3 in rushing defense. They put pressure and you, force you to commit to the passing game, force you out your game, and force you to turn the ball over. The two dominant QBs they faced, Rodgers and Romo, and 85 and 61 passer ratings, respectively, against the Bears.

Offensively:

1) When's the last time they've had a receiver as explosive as Marshall? Marcus Robinson (:rudy:) ? Bears now have the QB-WR combo with enough skill to put up 30 points on offense.

2) They have what has been one of the top 5 backs in the league last few years coming back off injury. So now you got Cutler, Forte, Marshall, Hester, Jeffery :wow: If only Martz could have stayed another year :whoo:

3) Look what they did against a top 5 defense in Dallas, they shredded 'em, and it was the first game this year they really put it together on offense. The only thing that can stop the Bears offense is themselves. I know it's cliche, but when they're clicking on offense, nobody can stop them.

So in short, the combination of the aggressive turnover producing defense and the high powered offense is a killer 1-2 punch. If their offense can play like it played against Dallas, very few teams if any have a chance against the Bears right now. Personally, I can't wait to see the Bears-49ers game, I think a lot of people will see how dominant the new Bears are in that game.
