Ehhh its kind of apples and oranges, Danny Elfman has an entirely different style than John Williams, but if I HAD to compare the two I go with Elfman.
John Williams is great at setting a mood but Danny Elfman's orchestrations actually give life and energy to scenes...
Also I'm a bit biased because of his Batman score...classic

I feel the same way about Elfmans work on Batman lol. Dark, moody and energetic. Like a Gothic circus lol.

might slide it to JW cause of all the iconic shyt...BUT Eflman did compose one of the most iconic TV themes...EVER, to one of the longest running shows...ever...this is hard.
