Batman Comic heads I need a good comic recommendation

Never really read comics before.

However, I'm a big batman fan and really like the animated movies. And some of these comic book threads got me like

Can someone suggest the top batman comic.

I'm looking for something that shows all his skills: detective work, fighting, intelligence, and gadgets/ weapons.

I also would prefer as new/modern as possible.

Just pick up the Long Halloween graphic novel or anything from Synder's current run on Batman: Court of Owls, Death of the Family, Year Zero

I'm not huge into reading comics, except for batman ones...The Killing Joke was great, if ur a joker Stan....or a bat Stan...actually it's just really well done...(Burton used it for how he wanted Joker to be portrayed in Batman)
