Kinda dumb question but anyway. If you touch the white out of bounds line with possession you are out of bounds, but if you shoot touching the 3pt line its only worth 2pts. Why aint it worth 3pts since you touching it?

Touching the 3 pt line voids the shot much like touching the out of bounds line voids the possession. Some of these Sasquatch ass nikkas would be shooting 20 foot jumpers from 3 if you foot could be on the line.
