In my opinion

Brady won his championships on the back of defenses while doing enough for the offense to put enough points up to be above average. Peyton is a huge recipient of flak for not doing enough to win while Brady has been the same person since he's been under the helm as an "elite" quarterback.

Kobe won his championships carried on the back of the most dominant big man in the league of Shaq & Robert "Big Shot" Horry. His last championship he averaged 28 shooting on 40% which aren't bad numbers by any stretch but I could make the case Pau was the heart & soul of that team.

No disrespect to either of these great players but when their hall of fame careers are over, will you see any similarities?

Yes....there are SOME similarities, but they main thing is they are both winners and neither of their teams would have won without them.

I'm more concerned with the bolded though:ohhh:

Pau was good in both NBA Finals they won together, but why does Pau get props for doing 2nd option stuff, and Kobe gets dismissed when Lakers fans bring up what he did as a 2nd option when he was with Shaq in the NBA Finals?

Kobe won early in his career and late. Brady just won early.

Pau was the true teammate pushing his compadres over the limit facing adversity while putting the numbers up in crucial moments of games to advance the Lakers to lifting another banner up in Staples.

Not discrediting Kobe's value :troll:

Nobody is stating Pau is the greatest at anything. That's the difference.

Kobe won on the back end of his career AND in the beginning, Brady hasn't done that yet.

Although Brady had really bad luck the last two superbowls.
