Through years of indoctrination of public opinion, we have been purposely mislead of what race is. Race, as logical as it seems, is an inherited maternal trait. It's quite comical when you think about the fact that humans throughout time believed that a white mother could bear offspring other than of her own self. Sure the child may bear more resemblance to the race of the paternal father, ignoring the fact that he himself inherited his race maternally. And so the cycle of ignorance continued throughout history of the true meaning of race as an inherited maternal trait.
At the beginning of his term, Barack Obama likely never imagined that racial violence would take place during his presidency. But it is not an accident. After all, he himself raised hopes that progress would be made. Yet after seven years in office, little has changed for blacks in the US. The reason being, your president is not black.
