Idk but it’s closer than people will say. Herbert is more physically talented/ better arm.
Baker has a better touch on his throws and eats up zone defenses and puts up big numbers. I really like how Baker has played on the Bucs. I lean towards Herbert tho

Look the part vs actual production. The only argument for Herbert is measurables and potential. Baker has put up numbers and won in the playoffs at multiple spots. Tampa wasnt supposed to be shyt after Brady left.

Herbert has way more potential...but Baker actually produces
also I know this while Baker is a fukking a$$hole he plays hard and goes all out....teammates play hard for him. he makes some crazy plays and throws his body around like his life depended on it...thats commendable and not sure Herbert is the same kind of emotional leader
with all that said
Baker is at or very close to his ceiling tho, Herbert got most of his career and prime still ahead of him

There is no legitimate reason for anyone to pick Herbert other than they don't like Baker/Herby has better PR

Baker Mayfield has a whopping 2 playoff wins and was a number one overall pick.
Two playoff wins, close, competitive games with KC, Detroit last yr, Washington this yr. Herbert's playoff resume is horrible.
Herbert has a strong arm but hasn't produced like Baker.
