Y'all really need to be up on Bad Sisters on Apple TV+. It's a dark British comedy that delivers on the darkness and the dry, British humor. If you liked the first couple of seasons of Killing Eve, then you need to watch this shyt. I'll put it right there with Severance. It's that good.

You will love and hate John Paul. It's like this dude took scumbag acting lessons from Anthony Edwards. The guy is incredible.

The opening credits are dope, too, which is par for the course with Apple TV+. It perfectly captures the show's plot.



We also got Eve Hewson, who was excellent in Netflix's Behind Her Eyes. She's also Bono's daughter. Who knew?

Sharon Horgan stars and has overseen this 10-partner, which is a comedy-drama with a heart as black as the night sky.

A remake of Belgian black comedy-drama Clan, Bad Sisters follows the five Garvey sisters, played by Horgan, Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene, and Eve Hewson, who find themselves at the center of a life insurance investigation after the death of their brother-in-law, Claes Bang's John Paul ‘JP’ Williams.

While his death has been ruled an accident, it turns out his demise is something that the Garvey sisters have long been planning.

Superbly plotted, darkly funny and incredibly gripping, critics have gone wild for the cast, Horgan's writing and, particularly, for Bang, who plays the villain absolutely superbly.

Yeah I definitely recommend this show. The JP character (John Paul) is such a good actor you'll hate his guts lol. To give an example, you'll hate him/his character as much as Tariq from Power & Joffre from Game of Thrones

This mothafukka is like Michael Myers. That was a sinister reveal with that look on his face at the door. I knew that Becka iced Minna lady as soon as soon as she closed that freezer door last week cuz they each have to fail at tryna kill this dude.

We get to see the badger from the opening title at the 10:45 mark.

This mothafukka is thawing Mawmaw Minna out with the blow-dryer. Commitment to the grift.

This dude JP flipped the switch on that 911 call like Playoff Rondo. You ever watch Forensic Files and hear these sick fukks fake 911 calls after they just clipped a loved one? They need lessons from this man.

The "run on for a long time, let me tell u that God's gonna cut you down" song playing while Bibi is running through the woods with the trees in the background that need to be cut down and while Ursula is getting cut down by Ben, aka Not Donal.

I always thought that JP should not die at the sisters' hands, despite their worst efforts. Who got him? Was it Ben? I think it works better if JP has an unfortunate, actual accident that takes him out and the girl's get what they want but get no murderous satisfaction from it.

It's that kind of callback and humor that I appreciate when Grace is packing up her dead husband's clothes.

That guy was diabolical, misspelling purple. Using the letters u and b for short instead of be and you. Using 5 phallic emojis. All to pass himself off as a believable child with a willy problem.

BIG WIN FOR THE GAA BOYS.
What a headline. And, apparently, the goalkeeper is a real cause for concern.

I didn't like the idea of Grace offing JP but it was executed well. We saw her pushed to the edge repeatedly throughout the season.

We gotta get Matt in SIS, cracking the case the way he did. Too bad it's not admissable seeing as how he had to break and enter to do it.

You think Grace has seen Forensic Files with they way she staged that scene? What a tour de force.

Masterful job building the tension with the pentothal. She really did mean it when she said she loved him as she looked at him with those devilish eyes at what appeared to be his impending doom sucking down that coke. Then to flip it around and almost off yourself?

Great ending with all the sisters getting to go diving and swimming together which they couldn't do to start the season.

I kept thinking that Grace was gonna slip and fall and crack her coconut tho.

What a great series. A true joy to watch.
