bytch ass Nick Wright been hating on our team ever since 2017. Always downplaying our teams talent and potential. This the same idiot who said Lauri Maurkanen is better than Tatum. Just years and years of constantly hating and never giving our guys credit. If the league wants to change how the game looks, they have to go back to eliminating the zone and bringing back illegal defense. That would cause teams to emphasize post play. But writers and some fans were complaining back in the day cus teams would run the same play over and over again. Just post up your best low post scorer, if the defense plays man up have your guy shoot, if defense sends double team kick it out to a shooter, or maybe the shooter swings it to another shooter.
This piece of shyt loves the NFL cuz his team has won 3 super bowls recently. But he doesn't understand that the NFL has changed it's rules so much limiting what defense's can do that his team's offense benefits from it. Andy Reid runs that west coast offense, which is a timing offense. Receivers now are allowed to run free off the line past 5 yards, but back in the 80's and 90's teams would mug Bill Walsh's and Seifert's receivers all over the field to disrupt timing of routes. But that was just football.
So in Nick Wright's pea brain, If rules benefit my teams success it's awesome. If a team I hate creates a system the exploits the rules it's terrible and rule changes need to be made,

And honestly it’s bizarre to me that the take away from that game is that the Celtics shooting 3s is bad for the league and not how awful the Knicks were defensively
Like how many of those attempts were wide open? Are we really wanting great 3 pt shooters to turn down open shots to dribble in and force up tougher mid range shots? Ppl are acting like the Celtics offense is just them coming down the court and mindlessly chucking 3s

Watching the Celtics' offense just makes me laugh and be amazed at the same time. I call it the "I Dare You" offense
- I Dare you to double team us. Then we would swing swing to the wide open man beyond the 3 point line and embarrass you
- I Dare you to play us man to man. Then Tatum, Brown, White, Jrue, Porzingis would embarrass you. Then if you decide to do a late double, our stars can make plays and swing swing again to the open man
