A federal judge ordered hip-hop artist B.G., short for Baby Gansta, to have all of his future songs approved by the federal government.
The ruling was made by a United States district court judge and will require the government to authorize any new lyrics from B.G, who is known for his 1999 single "Bling Bling."
The action comes after B.G., whose name is Christopher Dorsey, worked with two artists with felony convictions. Dorsey is on probation, which typically prohibits someone from associating with felons.
Prosecutors also say Dorsey's newer music was not in line with the rehabilitation goals set for his probation, which they argue demonstrates he had no intent on rehabilitation.
