or perhaps dude is a bust
dude has yet to make any impact in any facet of any game he's been in so far.
A bust after a year and handful of games?
Thats the problem with drafting projects in top 10......ppl are gonna have outsized expectations that they wouldnt expect if you were say #20. Kinda like the Tyrus situation but inverted. Tyrus was aggressive and active but skills didnt match that energy. Pat is more skilled but lacks aggressiveness
AKME knew they were playing the long game with him, personally i figured year 3 should be the breakout. I saw enough flashes and moments in year 1 to know he belonged in the league but with the team being better than expected and with basically losing year 2 to injury, he behind schedule
That being said, he would eat playing with Lonzo where he could get easy points on the break, doing cuts and as a lob threat.
So im gonna withhold judgment til halfway thru next season....if he still playing like 6'8" Tony Snell, ill be ready to wash my hands
Until then he needs to concentrate on rebounding and being disruptive defensively. Like tonight 7 boards and a steal....the scoring will come but focus on this first

yea...not enough games this year for him to come in off injury and make a great impact on that end (especially given our lack of structured offense)
just focus on being impactful defensively...boards, steals, blocks, help d, being vocal, etc.

I'm just waiting for him to make an impact somewhere at least once this season.

After missing the whole.year tho......Coby looked AWFUL for a while.when he returned. I.dont know man....temper your expectations. He was the leading rebounder tonight despite coming off the bench....thats a start

We are ass. Coby has been worthless for weeks now. Thompson is garbage. Pat does nothing on both ends. Offense consist of nothing but feeding Vooch like the old Gasol days and Demar running off a 1000 screens for the elbow jumper
