it doesn't matter when we get him, his replacement is just as capable

there will always be terrorists and the targeting of terrorist leaders is the perfect excuse to maintain a perpetual presence in the middle east and the endless "war on terror"

not really, the two people who al queda cant lose are laden and zawahiri, the rest are just puppets. witih ladens death al queda has somewhat become irrelevant and with his death al queda will be dead.

i hope they can get this guy but he wont make the same mistakes as laden

Umm all are puppets to create boogeyman for a successful agenda. These men have no real power or influence, it's the illusion that they do.

Bin Laden [R.I.P.] was a pocketbook

The original al qaeda has a few hundred members. They continue to be a threat because all someone has to do is come to them with a plan and if they like it they provide resources. As you may have noticed, alot of people in yemen/iraq/syria/somalia have plans and so they made their own groups and placed themselves under the al qaeda umbrella thus assuring funding. But rest assured they are not dependent on al qaeda proper for planning attacks

first its "we gotta kill zarqawi and they will be crippled"
then "we gotta kill bin laden and they will be crippled"
now its "we gotta kill zawahiri and they will be crippled"
tomorrow it will be "we gotta kill so and so and they will be crippled"

as long as we are fighting a method and not addressing the grievances that lead to the implementation of that method the problem will persist.

He started modern day terrorism. He's a fukking problem and real smart too. I dunno if we'll ever get him. Egypt should have kept him in jail after the assassination of Sadat. Why did they ever let him out? :why:
