first of all, slaves had to be born first, i.e. a functioning human being deserving of human rights. second of all "the courts" deemed whats human per abortions with science and reasoning. slaves were considered not human because of racism and ignorance. i mean if you're gonna make that comparison, the caption could just as easily say: "I know how it feels to be lynched and suffer hate crimes because I'm not seen as human too"-- would you agree with that???
