Aye Tell Me Whats Good With the TCL LED TV's

Im seeing these for cheap on Amazon $399 for a 43 inch. My pops has one and it looks pretty decent.

Is it a good buy or will it break down after a couple of uses? Is there a significant difference between the likes of a Samsung, Sony etc?

Help a brother out I wanna be playing 2k12-13 and fully immersed in the experience. If the TCL can deliver, then im good, but fill me in if im missing out on something.

I was a brand whore for samsung for the longest while...picked up a 50” TCL to replace the 40’ samsung I had in the bedroom...very impressed so far...picture quality and user interface are way better imo...the main thing now is longevity...and if I can I get 2-3 years out of this television

I personally wouldn’t call them ass but I have been overrating some of their televisions for some time now...I always thought if I was gonna break brand loyalty then it’d be for sony or LG...never TCL...the price was good tho...it was the most reasonably priced TV with 4 HDMI inputs

Yeah I don’t know how people rock with them. In my experience reliability has always been an issue. TCL makes some pretty highly rated TVs. I have one, and would buy another.

2 things, this thread was created 8yrs ago. And they're cheap because they manufacture their own parts. The TCL 6 series is highly rated budget TV

The CX is the best gaming TV on the market, the Sammy is a great tv as well but the CX wins hands down.
