Avengers: Infinity War Will Be Shot Entirely In IMAX (ComicBook.com)

The filmmakers behind Avengers: Infinity War say that the film will be shot in IMAX and that it will lean heavily on the large format picture to create an experience unlike anything fans can get in their home theaters.

"I just feel that the thing that distinguishes movies right now is that widescreen format," co-director Joe Russo said. "Why you go out of your house and go to the theater is to have that experience that you can't have in your house."
