I do think first person killed the sales potential of this game

They missed the only use first person had for this premise - starting the game human and small and then going to tall alien with adjustments to how the world is rendered perhaps to really make the player feel 'alien'.
Otherwise, all the selling points of playing this race of creatures is lost because you are locked in their eyes and it's all you know.

Ubisoft was a bad company to give this property to, just to do this type of game with it.

Honestly for that price it looks alright. I haven't played a Far Cry since 4 so that formula ain't that stale to me. Massive also did a good job with the Division 2

I'll wait till it's even lower top of the year when there's less shyt out
