The usual hens and sissies gonna cry "black trauma porn" cause they don't see a Marvel logo; but I love seeing black classics get new life breathed into them. I read the Piano lesson in eighth grade English and it had me glued at "Open up door nikka it's me!"

August Wilson’s Pittsburgh cycle is arguably the greatest collective piece of literature produced by an American. You can’t go wrong - full stop. Seen every damn one of the ten. Will absolutely be checking for this.

I will say the last two plays to films were a bit too faithful to the source material. Although I enjoyed them (great performances) it didn't quite escape the stage as much as it could/should.

This looks to be truly adapting the play that makes it more cinematic.
