Some of the highlights from the comment section..pay attention to how they shift the attention from an employer caught red handed being blatantly racist and put the focus on something else, upholding the status quo.
These people are completely oblivious to the fact that the owners constitution gives the owners the right snatch this god damn franchise from him, 100% legally. He doesn't have to sell, but he's not immune to constitutional punishment from the league. These people don't even want him to face punishment from the league. This is what they think about y'all.....they want this status quo of unchecked racism kept in check under the guise of "the first amendment".

Listen I understand where LJ is coming from...it would be great for another league to rise and founded by minorities, but to imply like if the whole league should be ours? That's not the way you want to start a powerhouse...the negro leagues would have had a better shot at succeeding if it was founded as a competitor to the other leagues instead of just focusing on one part of the population.
People need to stop thinking small.
Hopefully Silver the GAWD comes in and lays down the law on Sterling. It would be beautiful to watch...I got ESPN ready right now and might pop a bag of popcorn in the microwave soon.

This new league as LJ is suggesting is starting off with that in the background. Not the way you want to go about starting a large corporation which will need HEAVY financial backing from sponsors to pay our athletes as much money as they make in the NBA.
The NBA has been a great vehicle for minorities to improve their lives...don't let this moron Sterling dilute that fact. The NBA will have more black owners in the future...its inevitable.
