40 yrs ago i think it was pretty fukked up, they had the white policy which banned black migration to Australia and they only allowed white migrants to settle, they did some fukked up things to the aborigines, theyve done actually alot(stolen generation, land rights, native plantations). But the last 30 yrs australia went through a white guilt phase so most dont want to even talk about the past, most dont even want to talk about race. Theres isolated cases of racism against sudanese migrants that usually gets alot of public attention and the perpetrators get called out publically. I think last year there was a case where one of the greatest Australian Aborigine footballer was called a monkey by a teenage spectator and everyone pretty much reported her and she became front page news in most Australian capitals. I think white Australians are trying to clean up there image but theres still an undercurrent of racism when it comes to social issues such as impoverished rural Aborigine communities and Asian migration. Its still a racist place but now most of that racism is hidden.

Didn't Australia have a law branding Aboriginals as Flora and Fauna aka plants and animals? So I'ma need you to quit the bullshyt. America aint the most racist place in the world. White majority countries and white supremacy runs rampant in all nations born from Britain or any of those racist white empires.
It was terra nulius. Land with no man. Which was a legal doctrine that suggested aborigines didnt have a legal claim to the land . Ive ready said Australia was an extremely racist place. But today it would be very rare to find blatant racism like the op and its considered unlawful and the person who wrote this would have been charged for racial villification. I aint denying australia isnt racist, ive just never encountered blatant racism like the op these days in any communities in meobourne

It wasn't until an amendment to the Australian constitution in like the 60s that Aboriginals were even counted as citizens of Australia. They've all done the same horrific acts. Racism is an institution. It doesn't have to be blatant and in your face. You might not know, but you could've been turned down for a job over some white person, and guess what? That's racism. So a country that was born out of the pillaging, genocide, and stolen land of it's native peoples while not recognizing them as citizens will always be racist. That's the same shyt that happened in the US. The same shyt that happened in fukkin South Africa. It was actually legal to hunt Bushmen.

Australia racism is as bad as American racism, its probably worse because iin a way the whites have succeeded to an extent that they dont need to employ systemic racism to further disenfranchise the native blacks. Read about the stolen generation and Mabo land rights. Not to mention Howards interventIon. The reason why there wouldnt be much racially motivated attacks when compared with America is because most whites here know that theyve won. Theyve killed off most Aborigines in the major southern eastern states or theyve been raped so many aborigine women theres no pure aborigines left. In melbourne ive never seen an full blooded Aborigine. Aborigines in the north are killing themselves, theyre impoverished and the mineral wealth from their lands has been taken by the governnment and the rich white farmers and the capitalists. When your black population is self destructing, you dont need much systemic racism because theyre doing the job for you. Ive always throught cac racism is really about domination of resources by one race and in Australia, the whites are dominant by far. The Aborigines should be rich considering there lands usually have a ton of valuable minerals like iron ore, opals, uranium, tin, silver, gas and gold, but theyre killing themselves with alcohol and drugs. And so the government said hey, you guys aint responsible human beings so we will take your land and your wealth in exchange for extra dole money you could buy some extra alcohol to poison urself with. The Aborigines are probably the least successful native people in the new world. Atleast the American indians have some casinos and are building some wealth.
