Atheist become Catholic-thought process?

This is my last post for the Patheos Atheist Portal

1st let me say though I am a Christian (not a Catholic), I'm not posing this to show "Hey, this proves God is real". An atheist could easily post someone leaving Catholicism. But none the less, I wanna get you guys thoughts on here thought process? What do you think about her reasoning (or lack there of depending on your viewpoint).

Well, there isn't actually much reasoning presented, so it's hard to know her thoughts, but it seems like she was already leaning towards religion in a number of respects, especially with her belief that morals have an objective existence as Platonic Ideas (which is something the vast majority of atheists would not agree with.) If you believe that objective morals exist as part of the universe, then it's only a short jump to theism of some kind, especially if your theism consists, as her's seems to, of a personalized Morality, which she is interpreting as the Christian God (which is also something many Christians would not agree with, either.) Again, though, she doesn't actually present much in the way of reasoning so it's hard to say much about it.

To be honest, I skimmed through most of the link. But I don't see how you can think there is some sort of objective morality, and Christianity/Catholicism is in line with that morality, when the bible supports some of the most immoral ideas I can come up with.
