How can you believe in God when God says your lifestyle is an abomination?

The root of most atheism is absentee fatherism to some degree. Most popular atheists in history were without a father. Either he abandoned them, he was there but you know, not there, or he was effeminate. Rarely do they have a strong male role model so its like, if you cant believe in your own father, how can you believe in the Almighty. Easily for some but not so much for atheists.
