At what point would you say that weight loss becomes noticeable?

Past 20% it starts becoming more and more dramatic

As I stated in the sticky taking pics was my best indicator

I did every 10lbs but you could do every 2 weeks which would probably be better


Seeing your cut pics lets me know you could be the goat here, I know strength gains has been your passion but i wouldn't waste that aesthetic potential, you got your whole life for PRs :wow:

15lbs i would say is when it becomes obvious that you have lost weight

while yeah you can see the weight loss, it doesnt immediately jump out that it was 40 lbs

but at 160

those 20lbs are almost the same kind of jump

and youve seen my pics in the 150 range which isnt even a full 10lbs

all i know is once you start the better it will be, you have more muscle mass than me too so once you DO get closer to 12% itll be MUCH more dramatic than how mine is

also another thing, just cause any of us say your BF% is this or that doesnt mean you should set a goal based on it

IE someone told me when i first started @ 220 is 30% body fat, well i said if i love 20% of that i should be good @ 176 and be 10% :rudy:

obviously that was wrong, dont worry about your BF% and just start cutting. If you in a deficit and you are lifting. the fat will come off. Use scheduled pics as your guide and be just as dedicated as you are at lifting. If could do it so can you. and atleast for you you arent obese starting

its most noticeable in a persons face, i think. probably depends on the person though. i gained 30lbs over the past 2 months...not that many people really noticed. they could tell i was more muscular but didnt notice i had put on a lot of fat as well.

the couple times in my life when i decided to cut fat other people noticed before i did. took about 15lbs though.

Depends on what your starting point is. If you are 200 lbs. overweight, 10 lbs. loss is going to be negligible. If you are 30 lbs. overweight, 10 lbs. loss is going to be visible.

Usually you can see it in the face. Jawline becomes more defined.
