When the cost of fighting weighs less than the cost of not fighting

It'll likely be these gen z or gen alpha cats that give less fukks than previous generations. Outside the prominent leaders in history, baby boomers negligence and submissiveness is what caused a lot of our plight today. A chunk of us millennial are a different breed because we experienced what life was before social media and the internet world and we see the effects it's having on society. However a lot of us still got morals and a code instilled in us.

A lot of these youngins ain't got no code nor morals, so if a group decides to finally revolt it'll be them. A lot of us will likely be in our 50s, 60s by then if it ever happens

It used to feel like a real revolution would only come through death, but now I’m not sure. Recently then closest we got was George Floyd, but they quickly extinguished that momentum by weaponizing racism and classism to undermine the movement. Historically, Black people have been the catalysts for any revolutions, but we’ve already been defeated—mentally and economically.

I also think COVID was a test—a moment to see if people would rise up in the face of mass death. But we failed that, too. Government corruption is more blatant than ever, right in front of us, and we do nothing.

It feels like we’ll live and die as wage slaves in this lifetime. Still, I hold on to some hope for the distant future.
