I will ask him about choosing VT and coaching influences, I know he had some other Big East (at the time) offers, West Virginia and BC are two I can remember off top. He graduated HS in 99 right before Rivals and all the recruiting services got big. So he was on the squad that played FSU in the Sugar Bowl but didn't play until 2000.
