You mean like Chet did? That 2022 draft is :francis:
Chet was a 5 star and #1 prospect in the country. Not even close to being the same situation. He would have been a top pick regardless.

Look at the player comps on NBA.com of this years draft class and you'll see how bad it is :francis:

Isiah Collier was the #1 recruit in the 2023 high school basketball class and he might barely be a lottery pick.

It's exactly the same. Chet was drafted high in a draft with a bunch of mid players who have done nothing. Sarr going to get drafted high in a draft with a bunch of mid players expected to do nothing. Only difference is Sarr won't be lucky enough to play for a team that has two players better than him and let him settle into the perfect role for him like Chet is doing. We seen what it looks like when he tried to go for his and put it on the floor against Wemby.

shyt the spurs draft Sarr and they'll end up with two bigs better than chet instead of one :mjlol:

I mean Sarr is 7’1 with crazy athleticism and show great upside on offense, I honestly think he would be a top 5 prospect in most drafts

Alex sarr hasn’t played his last game in Australia, that’s all I’m saying

Huh the szn is over

He ain't goin back to the team he played for this SZN

He wasn't even a main focus and played against more physicality in Australia then he would have in college

Under utilised right and wasn't even played as a part of the offense , all those highlights were just from him utilising his size and length

Apart from the g league game he was never a key piece to that teams offense scheme or sets

He played bench minutes and still impressed

He is getting meaningful mins with whoever he is drafted by , he isn't playing another game in Australia for a club in there league

They only look similar to a non hooper :childplease:

Chet is/was special bc he has the same perimeter package—- handling, pull ups, J, etc——as a guard. PLUS the length and defensive capabilities

Meanwhile Sarr is your run of the mill extra athletic big who in todays game will be pidgeon holed as a defensive anchor. James wiseman with a croissant for breakfast

He is nothing like wiseman at all ,he has a lot more to offer then athletic ability and size

His ball handling and shot makin ability away from the basket , separates him from that comparison or conversion immediately

He isn't chet either from a skill set standpoint

While the year down under probs helped him prepare for the physicality of the league , it was also a down year development skill wise as I can see from those clips , he was only utilized in certain situations

His face up jump shot for someone his size def surprised me , has a good touch from outside and has confidence in his shot
