Everyone knows that I'm the most liberal guy out there I may differ on abortion (moderate) However, everything else is gravy. Anyway, is it wrong that I think we should have stricter rules for illegal immigration I'm not saying building a stupid wall. What I mean is protecting and monitoring our boarders more. I feel that we need to care for our people first. Meaning, poor and middle class families that were born here need to have first dibs Also, we can take in 10,000 refugees. However, coming in freely illegally has to stop. So, can I still be liberal and have my feelings on illegal immigration?


P.S. Mexicans are cool with me. However, we gotta protect our homeland.

Also, it's wrong that some employers take advantage of illegals. I wanted to throw that out there too. So, this won't seem like a one-sided thread.

The truth is that we need stricter boarders. Because we can't just have any ol Joe commin over like it's a free for all. So, I agree with him on that.

Yes it's wrong but only in a fallacious sense. Why is everything else ok? Proxy wars, misappropriated funds, climate change, police brutality...are all larger problems. Not to mention, most folks go back to their nation. So while you might not be wrong, I disagree that it's a problem the way you seem to be looking at it. What's a problem is many of those people come here and end up being endentured servants and drug addicts.

Never said that misappropriation of funds was okay. That's the MAIN issue we are tackling. Also, the wars we don't support. However, let's not deflect and use straw-mans. We are SPEAKING ON illegal immigration.

Give them work or school visas and a date that they have to leave by. If they arent serving the country, leave. That's how it is most other places, right? Considering that they are walking into slavery in most cases, they should willingly accept these provisions. The reality of the drug trade is not going to allow a stricter border. USA should accept and use anyone that comes here.

Kicking out or stopping immigrants will also be a huge shock to the food industry forcing more folks on both sides of the fence to go hungrier than they already do. While that may even out, who knows how long that will take?

There's more going back than coming in. The question is what do we do with the people here? Another question is would citizens do the jobs that some of the illegals do without hesitation?

Probably not so I don't understand why they can't just go through a process towards citizenship, pay their taxes and maybe a fine and let's get on with our lives.
