As a black person or any minority in America do you care about the American flag?

The reason why I ask is because white people have been very upset about their precious confederate flag. Anytime someone mentions how the confederate flag is offensive they claim it's not and that people COULD be offended by the American flag seeing as that the KKK used that as a symbol too.


I could care less about the American flag.

I look at it the same way I view the confederate flag. The same atrocities were committed under both banners. Wont catch me waving it.

Gay marriage, a flag flying, and now ole bill cosby putting a little extra in the jello pudding, is all deflection and distracting topics used to either ignore minimize and neutralize the rising momentum of black african people becoming more conscious and aware and the world following suit until ultimately many will be able to charge america with not only civil disobedience and hate crimes but crimes against humanity making america a hypocrite considering the sanctions they have been the driving force of Implementing on other sovereign nations.

9 people got killed by this white supremacist and more is being talked about a flag flying. Who the hell cares about that symbolic fight? They can put up all red black and green flags it won't stop white supremacist from murdering us wholesale and won't stop the economic and academic failures that lend itself to the consistent killing and crime in our poorer communities. It saddens me that it's so easy to sway us and have us arguing over moot points and ignoring the big picture.
