Lets face it, after 2K20, the games been lacking something that made 2K19 so GOATed:

• A cohesive Universe mode that's not being held together by glue and sprinkles
• Daniel Bryan story mode was GOATed AF
• The best roster beyond 2K14
• Felt more of a simulation than the new 2K games that are more arcadey
• Rare glitches compared to most of the WWE games
• Better weapon and table physics

Yukes went out with a bang before they bowed out, and its such a shame that wrestling games nowadays including the new 2K24 game, either going backwards or focusing on microtransactions out the ass ala MyFaction mode.

I remember playing a small bit of 2k19 during COVID time. I never like playing with retro characters. But for some strange reason I loved playing with them in 2k19.

I had a good story going with Jericho '99 vs SHINSUKE for the WWE title at SummerSlam lol.

But now bytch ass decision makers preventing me from downloading it again, game no longer available.




And despitehow trash 2k20 is. It's universe mode is better than 2trash22, 2trash23, and 2trash24s

yeah last time I checked it was just straight up unavailable. Im not sure if it was because of me not having ps plus, but it didn't even prompt me to buy a subscription.

Oh dang...that's why I can't fool with the consoles . Sony burnt me enough with getting rid of all of my movies on their platform and being picky with the PSN games if I cop a PS5.

This an undeniable truth for those paying attention. They are still adding small details from 2k19 still in 2k24/25. It's the modern GOAT. Fight Forever should've just been 2k19 reskin and it would've shyt all over what 2k is still figuring out. And with no gambling garbage like MyFaction they could've really turned a tide here instead of perpetually playing catch up in this field too. You had the team that made the best wrestling game in 15 years and they let Omega lead them into

• Better physics (tables break naturally and the wrestling moves are fluent and not robotic and arcadey)
• Universe mode has all the bells and whistles compared to the later counterparts ( pyro, openings, squash matches, etc)
• Grapple mini game (if you want a simulation experience, than a arcadey one)
• More customization options and a better creative suite
• OMG moves (crashing through barricades etc)

Beyond wargames, a half ass gm mode, and MyFaction, the newer 2K games are kinda ass. WWE 2K23 alone made me side eye the idea of getting another WWE game, until they go back to the basics of what made WWE games fun to play.

Don't forget the breh who was the long time studio head of Yukes, Bryan Williams, left the dev team as soon as he saw the bs with FF to go run the 2k series at Take Two. The writing was on the wall from the jump.

They been too slow to improve the game, 2K24 only runs better than 2K22 (which I liked).

They not shooting a high average. Granted, most ya'll complains are that they game isn't a live service (uploads new gear weekly, and changes hair, etc.).

The new features are not good enough year to year.
