Artists of the Coli: Do you write sheet music?

I've begun recording (I make R&B music) and I write the words on paper & make up the melody as I play the keyboard, mess around with the sounds on the synth & practice singing the lyrics.

But the professionals write 6 pages of sheet music with lines & notes and lyrics with enunciation underneath. That's a WHOLE lot of work and music theory is boring as heck to me. I rather just do it on the fly. Is my process OK or do I need to change the way I see things?

Theres programs that'll write the sheet music for you in for have a program to play it on. It's been awhile since I looked into it. Check zzounds.com for your music needs if you're on a budget you can pay while you play on some Rent A Center shyt.

plus everyone has a different style, besides the basic writing you can do it however you want.
