Arrest Records and Other Police Records

I got a question. My cousin got arrested in NYC for embezzlement and he is asking the family for help, but we would like to know more details.

I've tried looking on Google to see if I can find any public records, but I'm drawing a blank. Anybody know where I can get some arrest records for free?

He got bailed out already and was pointed toward legal help.

You could try calling the precinct that arrested him but idk if they can give you info without a foil (which I think is free actually).

Ask him for the discovery paperwork when he's indicted.

On the bright side he'll probably only get probation if he's convicted, they'll probably throw him an offer of probation as well.

Tell em' to smarten up. I never understood why people would commit such an obvious crime, they all get caught eventually.

Glad I got my record sealed and expunged. Moving to a different state helped too.

Go to the police station where he got booked and see if you can view the arrest logs. That info should be available to the public - but all police stations differ on how they release info. But it's at least a start.
