Damn. I loved Indulge Me, Make Out In My Car, Lonely World, Don't Bother Calling and Plastic too. Enjoyed the rest of the album. Its clearly not an album for everyone, my girlfriend didn't care for it and it's just a mission to get people to listen to it but oh well. It's their loss.

Yeah, album is definitely not for everyone but for those who can appreciate it, it’s really dope. Quarrel is musical bliss. One of my favorite songs on the album.. I love the other songs that you have mentioned as well. I listen to “Make Out In My Car” like everyday. Lol...Lonely World is another favorite as well. He kinda reminds me of Bjork, Fiona Apple, Solange, Nick Hakim, Sufjan Stevens a bit...
I would describe his music as folk, alternative, experimental, a little soulful, with a bit of indie pop elements.

I respect your opinion, but I think this album is awesome. It ain’t for everyone, obviously, but I love how much of a breath of fresh air it is in comparison to most of the music out there.
It is a breath of fresh air. I wish he’d gone even farther into the strange recesses of his art tho. I want to get my mind blown. Sumney’s definitely onto something. It is is nice in comparison to the slop that has become popular “black” music. I enjoy Sumney’s work
