if they want to impress me of gain the confidence of fans worried about Rocksteady not being involved they need to show some actual gameplay footage.

I take that stance with pretty much every game. I said the exact same thing about Arkham City when they released the pre rendered trailer for that game. Those things tell us nothing about how good or bad the game will be.
