i asked both of my sons on yesterday had they talked about the govenment shutdown and both of them were like ":yeshrug:....nope. what government shutdown :ohhh:?"

:snoop: this seems like something that history and government classes should be following closely with their classes and explaining what's going on. i had to break it down for them myself.....:aicmon:

Teachers don't have that kind of leeway bruh. They have a set guideline from the state of what they have to cover and at what time...Which is a part of the issue with schools.

:what: when i was in high school, we had a "current events" period during American Government class. we discussed whatever was going on in the news with our country, and our teacher took the time to explain to us what was happening and how it affected us as citizens. its FUKKED up if they don't do that anymore....:snoop::wow:
