its 9 technically but those who say 1 aren't wrong
No the answer is 1
6/2(1+2)=
6/6=
1
Yeah sweetheart. Cuz the answer is 1.:ehh2: Nah when you have only division and multiplication left you would just go from left to right instead of using PEMDAS. Same goes for addition and subtraction.
6/2*3=9 not 1
Just like 5-2+1= 4 not 2
That's what I was taught. Did Chicago public school fail once again?
You always do what's in the parentheses first so it's 6÷2(3):ehh2: Nah when you have only division and multiplication left you would just go from left to right instead of using PEMDAS. Same goes for addition and subtraction.

2(1+2)=6

Put 6÷2(1+2) in a calculator and see what u get breh
And btw how could u ever get 5-2+1=2
Only a retard would think that
No babbeh it's 9.
6÷2*(1+2)
6÷2*3
3*3
9
Division and multiplication are.....como se dice?......."of the same value" (I don't really know how to put that) so you do whichever comes first. Division came first.
To the bolded.....If you were going by the law of PEMDAS (which I'm assuming you are) Addition comes before Subtraction and that would equal 2.
