We know certain fields in America have "gatekeepers" and your ability to network plays a significantly more important role in your success than talent:ohhh:

Is it important for you to have a white partner to be successful in the modern entertainment industry :jbhmm:?

I'm trying to figure out if this is a Coli thing or just normal.

I ain't gonna lie and say I even follow hollywood or know the names of many actors black or white.:francis:

Every post I see here about a black actor/actress has a white partner. So it got me wondering if the Coli just cherry picking or is this normal or a major key for nikkahs to make in entertainment now

You fall in love with who you hang around...

Ain't a lot of Black people having the privilege to do super artsy shyt...

If you grow up in the arts either by passion and talent or privilege and I mean you doing Shakespearean plays and doing Broadway shyt...you most likely ain't gonna run into a multitude of Black people...

And then the people in the industry are most likely gonna be White...

And then you gonna be in LA and in Hollywood...once again...White...

So the odds are if you come up by the industry channels...you gonna be with a White person...if you not grounded with Black people...

And to be real...a lot of artsy motherfukkers ain't grounded in Black people like that and really don't care too much about race...:hubie:

Its not new or modern. Look at all of the "golden age" Black actors and actresses....that casting couch is real bruh.

Name some names please breh.

I was thinking about past and present black stars that I know ( I don't know many) but not sure if they all had non-black partners or not:jbhmm:

It ain't crazy important to me, since people can be with whoever they want for all I care, but is the casting couch really a thing tho:gladbron:...imagine Lena Horn having to bust it open to catch a break:wow:

Hard to believe :picard:
