This is a spinoff of my Arcadium thread asking if heads are really enjoying video games. I'm wondering if yall really "enjoy wrestling?" Sometimes I can't tell due to the smoke and explosions thats been going on in this piece for the course of months. We are in a "boom" period, but do you really feel the excitement like the golden era of wrestling?
Do you hate watch and if so...why? Whats the enjoyment of that besides causing mental health issues and unneeded frustration. If your favorite brand is "GOATed", why the need ot smear campaigns and malice, rather than a sports brand team type of display of competition?
For myself, I find myself appreciating wrestling on a casual side of affairs. When I was deep into the shyt, I found myself being lost in the sauce, angry, and frustrated over the play sports, rather than seeing the storylines unfold. Once I realize that I'm getting older and the industry is not the same as I grew up to love, I started to fall back and just watch occasionally. Seeing my own son being a hard body die hard to the point, he started having admiration and living through the wrestlers was the moment I got my wake up call.
My wife and I had to let him know the grim history of wrestling that's still to this very day. We all realized that we weren't fully enjoying wrestling, thus treating it like a glimpse than every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and big events. Shoot, the last time my wife appreciated wrestling was in 2014 with the Shield and Wyatts feud.
So how about yall? Do all....
Like ole boy in the 80s
Or yall jaded and holding onto a industry that's refusing to change?
