I've probably made this thread before but this has got to be one of the most annoying questions that can be asked at work. I actually think coworkers who ask this question are untrustworthy. I'm here to work, when I come in I say good morning to EVERYONE even when I don't feel like speaking. I then proceed to do what I get paid to do. I don't mind conversing and I speak when im spoken to but you always got that one person who thinks that is not enough and they lowkey seem to be trying to make an issue of it. Is it like a way of trying to start a conversation for them? Do they not realize that their tones and inflections of their voice are lowkey aggressive and accusatory?
"Are you always this quiet"
"Do you ever talk"
"You don't be saying nothing"
I be wanting to say "fool I gotta make sure this baby doesn't have a seizure for over 5 minutes, I can't afford to chit chat or entertain you". It's not like I haven't spoken to them either because I literally greet EVERYONE before I start to work. I don't get it and maybe I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill but the shyt is annoying.
