A Man May Be a Misogynist If...

1) He pulls the “Knight in Shining Armor” act and claims he can “save you”.
2) He dials in on a woman – he chooses her as a potential mate.
3) He is extremely possessive, and or often asks who you are with or where you are.
4) He acts obsessively jealous, even of your female friends.
5) He spends excessive amounts of money and always wants more.
6) He can’t handle criticism and is always defensive.
7) He is “exciting”, “fun”, or “charismatic”.
8) He comes from a dysfunctional family.
9) He had or has an abusive or passive father or a negative relationship with his mother.
10) He has a slanted understanding of reality.
11) He dislikes expressing or discussing feelings, or hates others for their weaknesses.
12) He rebels against authoritative figures.
13) He takes a secret that you told him and uses it against you.
14) He threatens to abandon you if you don’t comply with his wishes. (“If you really loved me, you would…”)
15) He calls you names, or teases you in an inappropriate way, or has a hostile sense of humor towards you.
16) He makes you feel uncomfortable and inferior or controlled around him.
17) He does things to humiliate you in public, or flatters you in public, and degrades you privately.
18) He is unkind or spiteful behind the wheel and feels that others’ blunders are directed specifically towards him.
19) He demands or desires complete attention, and requests you to be available when he wants you.
20) He directs cruelty towards animals.
21) He has a dubious personality. (Jekyll/Hyde).
22) He exhibits supercilious behavior - is boastful, controlling, and or narcissistic.
23) He is preoccupied with sexual activity or sexual inferences and is sexually controlling.
24) He must always have his way, he must always win, and there is no alternative to his way. He is overly-competitive.
25) He, as a child, enjoyed playing with fire, beyond the realm of simple curiosity.
26) He was or is involved in a violent sport. (What does he do now?)
27) He comes across too abrasively.
28) He believes women exist only to serve and be obedient.
29) He is a wonted liar - he constantly victimizes himself by twisting facts.
30) He has regular mood-swings. (Extreme high to low or low to high.)
31) He refuses to take responsibility for anything - blames circumstances, things and or others for his actions and behaviors.
32) He is rough with you at times - shoves you, twists your arm, grabs you and or pulls you, et cetera.
33) He is nice to others, but treats you poorly - shows you no respect.
34) He steals from others, cheats people, uses people - borrows but never repays.
35) He asserts that he is religious or spiritual and then attacks your own beliefs.
36) He gives gifts and then demands favors or unending/excessive praise.
37) He makes insensitive jokes and degrades women in front of you and then derides you for being upset or offended.
38) He seeks pity from others - convinces you to feel sorry for him for the hardships he’s had to endure.
39) He constantly or obsessively derides your family and friends, and tries to isolate you - forces you to account for anything and everything you do with your time.
40) He is impatient and, when he gets upset, destroys property - usually yours
41) He is histrionic and throws a tantrum when he doesn’t receive what he wants.
42) He tells you everything to do - what to do, when to do it and how to do it.

A man is a misogynist if he exhibits four or more of these characteristics. I encourage any man who displays these characteristics to seek help in dealing with these issues. There are reasons, not excuses, for these behaviors, and they can be corrected.

Anyway, it's been nice meeting all of you, despite the overwhelming hatred for me. I wish you all well. I read your discussions in the comments section(s) of the posts all the time, and I think that the dissenters here are all much better people than I can ever hope to be. I have a lot left to learn. I think that this was necessary for me.

I truly am sorry. I was wrong. Everyone who said that my agenda here was entirely selfish was correct. I really did hate everyone, including myself, and I wanted to try to cause anyone else I could harm and pain. I really did feel that way when I wrote those posts, but I understand that I was wrong. I feel that there must be something wrong with me, because I cared so much about looking for people to worship me, and I felt incredibly angry and upset when I couldn't refute what someone was saying. I really just wanted to be right so that I could be admired by someone, anyone at all.

None of you will be hearing from me again after this. This is my final post. I won't be looking at any of my accounts after today. I may have severely damaged my life with this. I hope not, but I may have. I am not a martyr, I am not a God, I am not much of anything. I was just an angry person, and now, I'm a person who has to try to figure out how to correct their mistakes. I'm going to be stuck with this forever, I feel...

My daughter won't be raised this way. I want her to be a person who loves everyone like I am incapable of loving people. I truly hope that she doesn't ever find out what I've done here, because I don't want her to reject me too.

as for her list, it's incorrect to say if someone possesses four of those characteristics that they're misogynistic because some of those other qualities listed can be attributed to other problems and disorders. just like the depressive lows and manic highs, that could simply mean you're bipolar. actually there's quite a few things she lists that could be attributed to other problems. but one thing i can say about her list is even though it's off the mark, it does list some other traits or actions that people wouldn't normally associate with misogyny that are misogynistic but wouldn't be perceived as such...
