Are y’all doing ACN? Or are people trying to sell you on it?

It’s an MLM scheme that pays you to have people sign up for utility services and you collect residuals. You also earn based on how many people you sign up to join the network. There’s an upfront fee to be an “independent business owner,” and all the things that accompany pyramids.

I’ve had two people in my circle, one a peer and one a former mentor reach out to me about it. The mentor is not taking no for an answer every 2-3 weeks they bug me about it after I clearly said I’m not interested and it’s not for me.

I literally just got a text from the peer saying good morning, I’m not responding.

Then a RE investor group reached out to me under the guise of being a networking event and bam, it’s a presentation on ACN.

ACN US | A Leader in Essential Services for Home & Business

Have you heard of this? Are people pushing it on you?

This gonna be perfect timing for these mlm folk to prey on people they essientially make there money by refering people to sign up through them to use their services and it just goes round and round in circles with no real end goal.

Yeah, I went to one of those too. I was invited, genuinely curious about Forex and didn’t know at the time there was a “marketing” arm. I’ll give them credit, they weren’t pushy and while the presentation needed work, they actually did spend a good amount of time going through actual selections. I passed.

Haven’t heard of the jewelry one but it’s typical.

I’m shocked because these aren’t slow or hustling people at least I didn’t perceive them to be. I can imagine people getting swamped by their networks with this crap. It’s annoying but looks like these two are going on my block list. I have yet to hear one good reason this would appeal to the average person other than the ever-nebulous “earn passive income”.
