Was thinking, after delivering another classic tag team match yesterday and having had classics with each other for the last few years, is it safe to say they’re equals to E&C, Hardyz and Dudleyz?
If I was to rank them it would be:

1)Hardyz
2)Dudleyz
3)Usos
4)Bar
5)E&C
6)New Day

From an in-ring perspective? The Usos/Bar/New Day are better teams.

E&C/Dudleyz/Hardyz are hella accomplished, but they are remembered more for actual moments, whether :russ: or :damn: nature. Because of the lack of accomplishments you can't hand over the crowns yet.

I can't recall a straight-up tag match that E&C/Dudleyz/Hardyz had that compares to some of the best work by the Usos/New Day/Bar.

They're super talented but it doesn't matter because of presentation. Them dudes wrestle during the pre-shows and it's all because Vince doesn't care for tag team wrestling.:francis:

In terms of raw talent, Usos/New Day/The Bar are better. The main thing that holds them back is that they're working at a time where the company could not care less about tag teams. E&C/The Hardyz/Dudleys were obviously great too, but they were also featured prominently on the card. Their current equivalents are the best teams on the roster and they're lucky to make it off the preshow.

Purely in-ring skill, Usos, The Bar, and New Day are far better than any one of the Dudleyz/E&C/Hardyz, but they simply have good-very good matches while the latter teams have legendary moments in wrestling. That's not a slight to neither one of those previous teams either, it's just that you can't really create that same feeling in wrestling today. The biggest "moment" the teams listed today had was the rap battle between New Day/Usos with Wale. That was VERY good and something I'll remember for a long time.

That New Day and Usos feud carried Smackdown Live last year. It was nonsense that they put on matches of the night on the damn preshow. They also did have the 1st ever tag team Hell In A Cell Match.
