It depends on what the "and stuff" is that you're talking about. Raspberry Pi is a mini computer. It's capable of a lot more than a regular set top box.

The Android boxes are simplified so if you want to avoid the setup then that's for you


But the Raspberry Pi is a mini computer, you can use different programs in separate SD cards and get more out of it

rasberry pis are too complicated, i mean I might try it out but I don't have the free time for this shyt.

Get an "Official" android box is my only advice. Nvidia Shield or the Xiaomi joint (international, not chinese version). there's no risk for those boxes due to the amount of support they get.

Rather than a rasberry pi, you can also build a tiny Windows based PC and attach it to your TV, there now you have a box with a "Reliable, and stable" OS. My brother has one of those, it's 100x better than Android/Rasperry box. Think about it you can now play the latest PC games rather than retro shyt if you build a good one.

i dont want a raspberry pi cuz i already have one. it is the 2nd edition. it's good but i prefer an android system. maybe a mini pc has it advantages too..

kodi is too limited for me... i need a proper web browser too .. sometimes , the sports addons give me too much headache .. i would rather watch a live stream straight from the browser. ..
