Are there really as many New Yorkers in Florida as they said it is?

i think i read somewhere that like 400,000 NY residents left NY to live in Florida between 2000-2009 and just 2010 alone Florida had 40,195 new residents that were originally from NY.

I dont visit Florida much much i'm sure it's a different states since everybody from NY is moving down there now.
